Continuing 28 years of interfaith respect, mutual understanding and harmony among world's faiths, the 28th World Religions Conference was held on Sunday, October 26, 2008 at the prestigious Humanities Theatre, J.G. Hagey Hall, University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.

This event drew several hundred from the region and across Canada. The World Religions Conference of Waterloo is now the largest Multi-Faith event of its kind in Canada.

Distinguished scholars from various faiths and philosophical traditions will be representing Aboriginal Peoples' Religions, Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Sikh Religion and Humanism (Atheism) deliberated at the conference and on the theme: Founders of Religion - Model for Humanity. Faith groups presented special spiritual poems and songs, and set up displays and exhibits. Lunch, Dinner and refreshments were provided at the conference venue.

Several local, provincial and national leaders also attended and deliver greetings to the delegates.
